Background
Mr. Fisch attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a BBA in 1997. Mr. Fisch studied accounting at the University of Michigan and worked for Arthur Anderson upon graduation. He earned his CPA two years later, in 2000, and transitioned into the field of equity research. At that time, Mr. Fisch joined Schroder’s research team as an equity analyst in the Media & Entertainment group. In 2003, Mr. Fisch joined Vanderbilt Appraisal and has taken a lead role in managing and training appraisers in Manhattan. In 2009, Mr. Fisch became Managing Partner of Vanderbilt Appraisal.
Appraisal Experience
Mr. Fisch has been appraising residential and commercial real estate for the past 10 years including mixed-use properties; apartment buildings, retail space, condominium apartments, cooperative apartments, single family & multi-family houses, air rights, and development rights within Manhattan. Mr. Fisch has taken an active role in defining the company’s training and review policies.
During his tenure at Vanderbilt Appraisal, Mr. Fisch has completed numerous specialty projects which include consulting for developers as they create offering plans; aiding cooperative boards in the allocation of shares and assisting attorneys with both litigation support and the drafting of discount letters for estate planning. Over the past 5 years Mr. Fisch has focused on both complex residential valuation projects and the formation and growth of the Vanderbilt Commercial Appraisal division.
